Everything exceeded all expectations, I would love to stay here again. Everything was very good, including very attentive and friendly attentive staff with the attentive service from all staff. They gave me neat and newly renovated room with a large lovely bathroom as well as windows open due to hot weather...

It is indeed an old hotel but from the inside everything is modernly furnished and very bright and homely. Breakfast was a three-course meal. Staff was super friendly and breakfast was very good!

We thorougly enjoyed our stay at Toravaig House. Our room had a stunning view over the water to Mallaig. The facilites were excellent. We booked in for the gourmet 5 course dinner and were very pleased we did - it was stunning. Breakfast was gourmet and much appreciated. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Thanks

The location was convenient to the Armadale ferry and the setting was beautiful.
The service was courteous but not as friendly as other places we visited. The food was advertised as gourmet but we did not find that to be the case. Since it was expensive, we would not recommend this hotel to friends

The sense of understated luxury and quality about everything - the food; the service and the location.
Wine was a bit on the pricey side, I thought.

Friendly staff, Easy parking, Sea view, Excellent food. Shower was tremendous.
Bathroom although recently refurbished needs "punchlisting" Cold Tap needs new "c" Floor grouting needs a few parts touching up The gromet (bottom left) on the Bathroom mirror falls off when you wipe the mirror. There is also "an issue" with regard to noise from adjoining bathroom.

A small intimate hotel which had that special feel to it. If you want to relax and unwind, enjoy a drink infront of a log fire, enjoy superb food, beautifully presented and enjoy a refreshing sleep in beautifully decorated rooms, then this hotel will not dissappoint. The level of attention to detail is excellent and the friendliness of the staff is just right. For the level of service, the hotel and dinner costs are favourable.
